About The Position

The Sales and Marketing Director is responsible for developing and implementing selling strategies for the organization, and leading teams to achieve the company’s desired revenue. The Sales and Marketing Director is an integral member of the company’s management team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Business background preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in management in a corporate setting.
  • Knowledge of PET film products, markets, and competing films is preferred.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to aggressively promote products.
  • Ability to work across functional groups at all levels of the organization.
  • 50% Travel Required.
  • Well-versed in the latest sales and marketing techniques as well as tried and true practices

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills, data collection and analysis skills.
  • Proficient computer skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Responsibilities

  • Develop and actively implement strategic objectives related to sales and marketing functions.
  • Create and maintain sales and marketing budget for assigned team.
  • Develop Sales and Marketing strategies by identifying target customers, setting long and short-term goals for their team and aligning team strategies with corporate goals and values.
  • Provide leadership for sales team including but not limited to contract preparation and negotiation, determining workflows, assigning tasks, answering questions, responding to employee concerns, provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to help direct reports reach their potential and ensuring compliance with departmental policies.
  • Engage in market research by investigating customer needs, locating unserved or underserved market segments, monitoring industry trends, looking into competitor activities to create more effective strategies.
  • Lead the department in setting up data collection and analysis tools and drawing actionable insights from key metrics to measure effectiveness of market penetration, year-over-year growth, customer lifetime value, conversion rate, cost of sale win rate, engagement rates, customer acquisition cost, retention rate, return on investment and many other metrics.
  • Liaison between sales team and company management.
  • Present performance reports to company management team summarizing activities of sales team, provide metrics that demonstrate successes and describe strategies for continued growth.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources to secure talented Account Managers for department including but not limited to reviewing resumes, conducting phone and on-site interviews, and facilitating on-boarding process including but not limited to developing training plan for new employees.
  • Attend key trade shows, seminars, and conference to track industry trends.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional teams at the site and within the regional team.

Benefits

  • The salary range for this position is $180,000-$190,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location in this posting.
