About The Position

Provides strategic leadership for the organization's Quality, Risk Management, and Medical Staff functions, overseeing clinical risk programs, claims management, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives. Responsible for developing departmental goals and standards, directing operational performance, patient care quality, audits, staffing, budgeting, and compliance activities. Collaborates across the organization to ensure regulatory readiness, drive continuous improvement, foster professional development, and support excellence throughout the continuum of care. You’ll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.

Requirements

  • Current state RN license
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
  • BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • At least 5 years experience in Nursing with at least 3 years as a Director/Manager.

Nice To Haves

  • MSN, Healthcare Administration, and MBA strongly preferred.
  • Prior acute healthcare risk management experience is preferred and can substitute for the leadership experience.
  • Experience working in a for-profit hospital strongly preferred.
  • Previous Director level experience preferred.
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) certification preferred upon hire and required within three years of employment.
