The Director, Risk Management, is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could potentially affect the company's ability to obtain insurance coverage or maintain financial stability. They will work closely with both internal stakeholders and external insurers to protect the organization's assets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. The Director, Risk Management, will have extensive experience in risk management and strong leadership skills. Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills are required. They will be adept at identifying and assessing potential risks, developing strategic plans to minimize financial losses and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Director, Risk Management, will work independently and in a team environment collaborating with all areas of the organization including but not limited to EHS, Facilities, HR, and Legal, as well as external stakeholders.
