About The Position

Tenstorrent is seeking a senior operator to serve as a hybrid Chief of Staff and execution-focused TPM for the RISC-V software organization. This role offers high autonomy and involves defining team goals, translating them into executable plans, and independently driving cross-functional initiatives to completion. The successful candidate will partner closely with the RISC-V software team and workstream leaders to enhance planning, execution, dependency tracking, and operational visibility. This individual will proactively identify bottlenecks and risks, develop mitigation plans, and help leadership concentrate on high-value tasks. The role also encompasses headcount planning, recruiting coordination, managing external requests, and preparing presentations for customer or partner engagements. The ideal candidate will represent the team effectively, filter information, and become a visible representative of the organization.

Requirements

  • Senior operator with strategic thinking and strong execution capabilities.
  • Comfortable driving complex technical initiatives across multiple teams.
  • Strong communicator with credibility across engineering, product, and leadership.
  • Skilled at creating structure in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Pragmatic, low-ego, and able to operate independently.
  • Proven experience leading large technical programs or serving as a Chief of Staff/Senior Operator for a technical org.
  • Strong track record working with engineering teams in systems software, infrastructure, or semiconductors.
  • Demonstrated ability to shape and define initiatives from scratch.
  • Strong judgment and communication skills to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-team outcomes.
  • Eligible to access U.S. export-controlled technology.

Responsibilities

  • Define, track, and execute team milestones in partnership with RISC-V software workstream leaders.
  • Build dependency tracking and risk mitigation paths to proactively solve bottlenecks.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives across software delivery, engineering infrastructure, and external requests.
  • Support headcount planning, recruiting logistics, and hiring loop discipline to scale the organization.
  • Filter inbound noise and prepare pitch/presentation materials for leadership.
  • Represent the team and become a visible face of the organization.
