Director, Reporting Excellence & SAC Enablement
About The Position
Lead AbbVie’s enterprise SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Reporting & Analytics Center of Excellence (COE) to maximize the business value of SAC implementations. Establish the long-term strategy, governance, standards, and operating model for reporting, analytics, visualization, user enablement, quality assurance, and continuous improvement. Build sustainable organizational capabilities to support ongoing operations and future SAC implementations across business units. The role has three direct reports and six indirect reports. Develop standardized methodologies, governance frameworks, testing practices, training programs, documentation standards, and knowledge assets to improve solution quality, accelerate implementation, and drive user adoption. Lead enterprise reporting and analytics strategy; establish SAC implementation and operational standards; define testing and quality frameworks; build knowledge management and learning programs; and lead governance and cross-functional partnerships across Finance, Business, and Technology. Success measures include establishing the Reporting & Analytics COE; implementing standardized reporting, visualization, and governance frameworks; adopting an enterprise testing methodology; establishing standardized release management; creating a comprehensive knowledge repository; deploying enterprise training and onboarding; increasing user adoption and satisfaction; improving reporting quality and consistency; and adopting reusable implementation methodologies across the organization. Requirements
- 12+ years of relevant experience in Finance, IT, or related fields.
- Extensive experience in Finance transformation, reporting, and analytics.
- Deep understanding of SAP Analytics Cloud or enterprise planning platforms.
- Experience leading enterprise governance and cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong background in reporting strategy, business processes, and analytics.
- Proven leadership in change management and user adoption.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the enterprise Reporting & Analytics Center of Excellence for SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Define the enterprise vision and roadmap for SAC reporting and analytics.
- Establish dashboard design, visualization, reporting governance, KPI definition, and reporting best-practice standards.
- Identify ways to improve executive reporting and decision support, partnering with Finance leadership to align reporting strategy with business objectives.
- Establish enterprise SAC implementation and operational excellence standards, reusable methodologies, playbooks, scalable governance, and support models.
- Capture lessons learned from deployments and incorporate them into future implementations; promote continuous improvement across SAC capabilities.
- Define enterprise testing methodology and regression testing framework; standardize defect management and root cause analysis and improve testing effectiveness.
- Set documentation standards; develop implementation guides and operational playbooks; establish a centralized knowledge repository; and create reusable process documentation, templates, and reference materials.
- Define enterprise learning strategy, structured onboarding, role-based curricula, training standards, certification pathways, and self-service learning resources; measure adoption and capability development.
- Establish and drive Reporting & Analytics governance forums and define the COE operating model, enterprise standards, and best practices.
- Monitor solution performance and adoption; identify opportunities for simplification and automation; lead continuous improvement initiatives; and measure COE effectiveness through KPIs.
- Partner with Finance leadership to understand evolving business needs, influence enterprise reporting and planning strategy, and support future business-unit implementations.
