About The Position

Citco is a market leader in the asset servicing sector, with a pioneering spirit that guides its innovation and expansion. The Fund Administration business is core to Citco, and its alternative asset and accounting service is highly respected. Strategic Operations, a function within Private Assets, consolidates transformation delivery, project execution, business analysis, operational initiatives, and implementation support. This group is divided into three focus areas: Operating Model, Product & Client Solutions; Data, Reporting & Platform Enablement; and Digital Workflow, Automation & AI. The Data, Reporting & Platform Enablement area, led by the Technology, Data & Delivery leader, is responsible for defining Operations requirements for data, reporting, and platforms, enhancing data quality and lineage, and managing solutions through testing, deployment, and adoption. This group collaborates closely with Operations, the Transformation Office, IT, Tactical Operations, and Marquee Client teams. Roles may be permanent or approximately 12-month rotational assignments.

Requirements

• 4+ years’ experience in private assets accounting or operations, with exposure to reporting or data work.
• Solid technical knowledge of private assets processes and the data they produce.
• Hands-on experience building or maintaining reporting, or a clear appetite to develop in that direction.
• Comfortable working with technology partners and asking the questions needed to get to a root cause.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interrogate data and evidence a recommendation.
• Attention to detail and a proven ability to manage several pieces of work at once.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel); exposure to reporting, workflow or automation tooling an advantage.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics; working towards a professional accounting designation an advantage.
• Deep technical and operational knowledge — genuine depth in how our processes, data and platforms actually work — the detail that only comes from having run the work.

Responsibilities

• Support data, reporting and platform delivery, with hands-on ownership of analysis, reporting build and testing.
• Gather and document data and reporting requirements from Operations teams.
• Build, test and maintain reporting outputs and analysis used to evidence problems and measure benefits.
• Investigate data quality issues and trace them back to source.
• Build and execute test scripts for platform and reporting change, and track defects through to resolution.
• Support platform implementation tasks across fund structures, new client setups and transitions.
• Prepare user guidance and support Operations teams through go-live.
• Maintain project documentation, trackers and status reporting.
