Director - Rehabilitation Services
About The Position
The Director of Rehabilitation Services will direct the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and strategies for rehabilitative services. This role involves developing strategic goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements of the organization. The Director will plan, organize, and direct all activities related to staffing, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives. Additionally, they will prepare budgets for the service area, ensure compliance, coordinate and direct audits, and direct and evaluate clinical activities to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
Requirements
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist/Audiologist or Occupational Therapist (OT) by the appropriate State of Alabama Board or registered as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or (RPT) by the State of Alabama Board of Physical Therapy required.
- High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
Nice To Haves
- BLS Provider preferred.
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
