About The Position

We are seeking a Director, Quality Assurance, to lead Quality Engineering across Global AML Technology platforms in a highly regulated environment. This role is accountable for QA strategy, governance, and delivery across multiple AML systems, operating through a hybrid model of internal teams and a managed service partner with onshore and offshore resources. A key success factor for this role is the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively with senior stakeholders across Technology, Business, Risk, Compliance, and Audit.

Requirements

• Senior leadership experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering within large scale, regulated technology environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities across platforms and stakeholders.
• Experience leading hybrid onshore/offshore delivery models and managed service providers.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with executive presence.
• Background in test automation strategy and modern QA practices.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in AML, financial crime, regulatory reporting, or similar risk‑intensive domains preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the QA / Quality Engineering strategy for Global AML Technology.
• Manage QA delivery across multiple AML platforms, ensuring alignment with regulatory, audit, and risk expectations.
• Oversee a hybrid delivery model (FTEs and managed service partner), including vendor performance and governance.
• Balance competing delivery priorities, negotiating scope, sequencing, and timelines with stakeholders.
• Provide oversight of test outcomes and release readiness, contributing to production go/no‑go decisions.
• Drive adoption of modern QA practices, including increased automation and efficiency.
• Support audit and regulatory engagements, including issue remediation.
• Manage QA budgets in partnership with Finance.
• Build and develop a high‑performing, inclusive QA leadership team.
