EvolveMKD is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven Director to join our Public Relations team. This person should have proven experience working with consumer healthcare brands, healthcare media, influencers and experts such as physicians. Healthcare / regulated experience is a must. This person should have a track record of executing strong media launches and maintenance efforts, as well as strategic public relations initiatives such as events or strategic partnerships. This person will have demonstrated acumen for building client relationships and strong consumer healthcare media relationships. EvolveMKD is based in Manhattan, and we operate on a hybrid schedule (in-office 3 days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). Relocation assistance is not provided. The Director, Public Relations will play a pivotal role in leading client accounts and executing strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in client management, event execution, and media relations. This person should be first to volunteer for any task at hand and run with it, and show bravery in trying new tasks and learning new technology. They should be a self-starter with strong research, project management, and organization skills. We expect that team members at this level have an inner sense of “restless discontent,” i.e. they are constantly looking to elevate their client work and their personal skill set. We also expect all team members to demonstrate a strong problem-solving skillset, as EvolveMKD is a fast-paced, start-up environment. Passion and enthusiasm for the work, as well as team collaboration and respect are required.
