About The Position

The Director Provider Engagement is a Lead Specialist (individual contributor) role who is responsible for executing against the Specialty Products and Programs (SP&P) performance objectives. The role is a subject matter expert who works collaboratively with both US Oncology & Onmark members (customers) to develop and implement processes and programs that ensure the delivery of high-quality comprehensive SP&P engagements. The role will also coordinate across the McKesson enterprise the launch and execution strategies for more complex multisource product launches.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant healthcare experience.
  • 5+ years of sales, consulting, or provider engagement experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; masters preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in leadership, business analysis, and strategy development in management consulting, technology, or healthcare/pharmaceuticals.
  • Previous Group Purchasing Organization and/or Specialty Generics experience.
  • Healthcare experience required; oncology experience highly preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
  • Strong service selling, service delivery, and client relationship skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Execute SP&P performance objectives for a set group of highly engaged strategic oncology customers (US Oncology, Strategic, State Societies and others)
  • Partner with Business Development Directors and Pricing team to be able to articulate to customers SP&P’s sourcing and supply strategy, market dynamics, pricing and manufacturer updates
  • Coordinate across the McKesson enterprise the launch and execution strategies for more complex multisource product launches, partnering with the GPO, Brand, Pricing, Sales, and Campaigns teams
  • Collaborate with US Oncology leadership, Pharmacy Solutions Teams, GPO, Sales, MID, and other internal stakeholders to drive contract performance and provider engagement with the SP&P business.
  • Lead monthly Pharmacy Directors advisory committee for multisource drugs
  • Participate and present at P&T, NPB, customer conferences and QBRs as needed to articulate the multisource value proposition to customers
  • Lead complex projects to improve value, innovate offerings, streamline efficiencies, and improve member experience
  • Develop and coach new and tenured sales teams on SP&P market landscape and dynamics
  • Present to Leadership on SP&P strategies, market dynamics, and performance
