Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering or a related field; Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years in project management roles in a related field is required with at least 5 years in a MedTech leadership role.
  • Minimum of 5 years of people management experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in product development processes is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years in directing and leading cross-functional teams in a related field.
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of medical device regulations and external standards.
  • Advanced computer skills, and the ability to multitask without direct oversight of manager.
  • Proven experience in ecosystem Project management including design and implementation of project management software and tools.
  • Consistent record of leading large-scale projects and teams across multiple locations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven track record to influence across organizational boundaries.
  • Fluency with generative AI tools.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and maintenance of the portfolio to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to prioritize projects and initiatives based on strategic value, feasibility, and resource availability.
  • Establish and coordinate governance frameworks to monitor project progress, decision-making processes, and compliance with corporate policies.
  • Ensure that development activities support long-term innovation objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor budget and resource allocations and expenditures related to critical initiatives, ensuring optimal use of resources.
  • Contribute to financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis for development projects.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously refine standardized processes, procedures, and guidelines for product development and project management.
  • Be responsible for the implementation and optimization of tools, systems, and databases that support project tracking, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
  • Promote the use of technology to improve workflow efficiency, data integrity, and decision-making processes.
  • Lead initiatives to identify root causes of process inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement strategies.
  • Lead organization change initiatives to facilitate smooth adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working.
  • Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance team capabilities.
