About The Position

As the Director, Consulting & Value Delivery, you are accountable for the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of Aptean’s consulting and value delivery organization. You are a key member of the consulting leadership team, reporting directly to the Head of Consulting & Value Delivery, and serving as one of their primary leaders in shaping strategy and execution.
You will partner closely with client executives and internal stakeholders to shape consulting strategy, ensure delivery excellence, and maximize client value realization across all engagements. This role has direct leadership responsibility for senior delivery leaders, including Project Management Principals and delivery-focused Solution Architects who oversee end-to-end functional design and execution across complex implementations.
This role serves as the senior escalation point for complex delivery challenges, proactively managing risk and aligning teams to strategic priorities. You will lead and develop consulting leaders, strengthen delivery methodologies, and ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes that drive customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnerships.
You are an experienced consulting leader with a strong background in supply chain software and large-scale enterprise delivery programs. You bring a strategic mindset, executive presence, and a passion for leading leaders—building high-performing teams that consistently deliver measurable value for customers.
You are comfortable engaging at the executive level as a trusted advisor, balancing client outcomes with business goals such as utilization, revenue, and margin performance. You thrive in complex environments, anticipate risk, and take clear ownership of delivery quality, team effectiveness, and client success.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience leading supply chain software consulting organizations, including large-scale, multi-workstream programs
• Deep expertise in supply chain planning systems, related technologies, and change management practices
• Demonstrated experience leading senior project managers and solution architects in a delivery-focused consulting environment
• Proven success engaging client executives and leading cross-functional, globally distributed teams
• Strong experience in strategic business planning and prescriptive consulting, including shaping future statements of work
• A track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining high-performing consulting talent
• Excellent executive communication, presentation, and steering committee leadership skills
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%
