About The Position

The Productivity, CapEx & Working Capital Director plays a critical leadership role in driving operational excellence, capital efficiency, and cash flow performance across the Beauty segment. This position is responsible for leading productivity initiatives, overseeing the review and governance of capital expenditure (CapEx), and steering working capital improvement strategies. The ideal candidate is a strategic, analytically strong, highly collaborative finance leader who can partner effectively with global operations, supply chain, finance, and commercial teams to deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, asset utilization, and cash generation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced financial modeling capabilities.
  • Proven experience in productivity improvement, capital investment analysis, and/or working capital optimization.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Proficiency with financial systems, data tools, and productivity software.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, refine, and deploy segment-wide productivity strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen cost competitiveness.
  • Identify KPIs and productivity metrics to track performance, diagnose issues, and propose targeted improvement actions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to map processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and accelerate performance across manufacturing, supply chain, and supporting functions.
  • Continuously monitor productivity program performance and communicate progress, risks, and results to senior leadership.
  • Partner with the Operational Excellence (OE) team on key segment-wide initiatives and methodology deployment.
  • Provide financial leadership and evaluation for all footprint and transformation initiatives.
  • Serve as the segment’s primary owner of working capital strategy, partnering closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Finance to improve cash conversion and overall financial flexibility.
  • Analyze key working capital drivers—inventory, receivables, payables—and develop targeted action plans that optimize cash flow without compromising service levels or operational performance.
  • Establish working capital dashboards and reporting routines to provide transparency for regional and site leadership teams.
  • Drive inventory optimization initiatives, including safety stock reviews, slow-moving & obsolete (SLOB) reductions, and cycle-time improvements.
  • Collaborate with Procurement and AP teams to strengthen payment terms strategies, supplier negotiation frameworks, and payment discipline.
  • Partner with Customer Service, Credit, and AR teams to improve collections, reduce overdue balances, and enhance customer credit management processes.
  • Develop and reinforce governance around working capital accountability, ensuring regions and plants have clear targets, action plans, and monthly performance reviews.
  • Support the 5YP and annual budget processes by validating assumptions related to cash flow, inventory turn improvements and working capital efficiency programs.
  • Lead the CapEx review and approval process, ensuring projects align with segment strategy, operational priorities, and financial expectations.
  • Conduct comprehensive ROI analysis, scenario modeling, and risk assessments to evaluate proposed capital investments.
  • Work with global and regional teams to prioritize spending, allocate resources, and ensure project pipeline alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Track CapEx execution, performance, and realization of expected returns; lead quarterly reviews of major business cases from the prior year.
  • Maintain consistency and standardization in business case submissions, ROI methodologies, and approval governance across all regions.
  • Prepare insightful, data‑driven analyses and reports covering productivity savings, CapEx performance, and working capital trends.
  • Provide forward‑looking financial forecasts and scenario evaluations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor adherence to annual budget and 5-Year Plan (5YP) assumptions for productivity, CapEx, and working capital.
  • Deliver clear, actionable insights and recommendations to leadership teams.
  • Build strong partnerships with global Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, and OE teams to align initiatives and ensure cohesive execution.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels, ensuring clarity, transparency, and alignment on priorities, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Influence without authority, driving accountability and ownership across regions and functions.
