About the Team This is a Product role within Capital One’s Encore organization reporting into the Innersourcing, Data, Engineering 360 and Analytics (IDEA) Team. This person will own the strategy, build and adoption of the Transaction Data Product for the Credit Card business. This role is designed to define the vision, strategy and roadmap for data standardization, asset build for both real time & batch and maturing the data product with enhanced governance and consumer adoption. As a Data Product leader, you will be responsible for developing, processing, managing all stages of Credit Card account data for the organization. The candidate will be working closely with data analysts, data scientists, engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand the customer needs and provide the right data solutions for them with the support of partnering teams. The ideal candidate combines strong product management experience with a deep understanding of data systems, data processing and user needs. You will be instrumental in shaping how data is used across the company influencing both the technical infrastructure and the user experience. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: Define the long-term vision for Transaction Data Product, focusing on the data Partner with platform and product leads to define a multi-year roadmap to deliver real time and batch data assets for Transaction Data Drive convergence of the consumers to the data product in a well managed way Define strategy and execution for Collections and Recoveries accounts on our Future Ledger of Credit Card accounts This Product Leader is to provide visionary, yet practical leadership to balance maximizing value to the business today while actively, and differentially enabling the move to a modern platform. The expectation is the leader will build and maintain a highly engaged, high-performing team through a combination of development within the existing team and recruiting new talent, as well as play a horizontal connective role to elevate the culture, talent, operating rhythms, and inclusivity in the broader team as it to evolves and matures. Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience working in Product Management
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
  • A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
