About The Position

The Director of Product Strategy will be a senior leader within the Engineering organization, responsible for shaping and advancing the company’s product platform vision and long-term roadmap. This role focuses on defining and executing a 3–5 year product strategy that aligns with business objectives, technology evolution, and market opportunities. The Director will also play a critical role in mergers and acquisitions by evaluating potential targets for strategic, technical, and product fit. Deep experience with equipment-based products and platforms is required. This role partners closely with Engineering, Product Management, Corporate Development, and Executive Leadership to ensure the product platform scales, differentiates, and supports long-term growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • 10+ years of experience in product strategy, product management, systems engineering, or platform leadership roles
  • Proven experience working closely with Engineering teams on complex, equipment-based products or platforms
  • Strong background in equipment, industrial, or hardware-integrated product environments
  • Experience with platform-based product strategies spanning hardware, firmware, software, and services
  • Ability to evaluate system architectures, technical roadmaps, and integration risks at a high level
  • Demonstrated success developing multi-year product strategies in evolving technical and market landscapes
  • Experience supporting or leading product due diligence for mergers and acquisitions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess tradeoffs and long-term impact
  • Executive-level communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across Engineering, Product, Finance, and Corporate Development
