Director, Product, MarTech and Engagement Platforms

ParamountWest Hollywood, CA
$176,800 - $265,200

About The Position

We are building the next generation of Paramount’s engagement foundation: a connected decisioning and orchestration layer that sits above our execution platforms, unifies audience signal and identity, and turns Paramount’s first-party data into personalized experiences across content discovery, in-app messaging, and cross-channel communication. Campaigns and user journeys are designed once, decisioned centrally, executed everywhere, and continuously optimized against measured outcomes. You’ll be building the product strategy and capabilities to leverage our internal decisioning engine with third-party tools like SalesForce Marketing Cloud, Kochava and more. As Director of Product, MarTech & Engagement Platforms, you will own the product vision, roadmap, and technical direction for Paramount’s MarTech engagement decisioning and orchestration layer on the platform that activates first-party signal, arbitrates audience and content decisions across channels, and orchestrates the execution layer spanning Braze, SFMC, Redfast, SendGrid, and adjacent CRM systems. You will chart direction for the connected customer data platform, decisioning services, and integration layers that support end-to-end engagement and retention across Pluto TV and Paramount+, from content discovery surfaces and in-app experiences to user lifecycle messaging, cancel-save flows, and win-back journeys. You will lead a team of product managers and partner deeply with Marketing, Engineering, Data, and Design to deliver a scalable, measurable, and AI-enabled foundation for how Paramount engages its audiences.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in Product Management, with 3+ years leading product managers building MarTech, engagement, personalization, or CRM platforms at consumer scale.
  • Demonstrated success shipping platform capabilities including decisioning, orchestration, audience, identity, integration; not just campaigns or journeys.
  • Deep technical fluency across the modern MarTech stack: messaging orchestration platforms, CDPs, identity resolution, audience segmentation, event streaming, and integration architecture.
  • Hands-on experience designing scalable, integrated solutions using configurable platforms, API-driven integration layers, and enterprise data architecture.
  • Knowledge with platforms such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Iterable, Redfast, Kochava, Branch, and SendGrid is valuable; depth of craft and architectural judgment matter more than specific vendor experience.
  • Track record of defining measurement frameworks (incrementality, holdout design, Marketing Mix Modeling, Multi-Touch Attribution) and leading experimentation programs tied to business outcomes.
  • Proficiency with product management frameworks and tools (Jira, Figma) and the ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps and continuous value delivery.
  • Exceptional product storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex technical and data concepts into clear, compelling product direction for senior executives and cross-functional partners.
  • Experience with AI-native or agentic product patterns applied to marketing, content, or customer engagement.
  • Experience evaluating build-vs-buy decisions and leading MarTech stack consolidation or modernization efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Own the multi-year product vision and roadmap for Paramount’s engagement decisioning and orchestration layer including defining the capabilities, design patterns, and future-state blueprint that turn a fragmented MarTech toolchain into an integrated engagement system.
  • Chart the technical direction for the connected customer data platform, audience and identity services, decisioning logic, and integration layers that sit above CRM execution platforms such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Redfast, and SendGrid.
  • Own product strategy for the execution surfaces themselves to define how Paramount builds on, extends, or consolidates across existing MarTech tooling based on capability gaps and strategic leverage.
  • Shape how engagement decisioning connects to content surfaces across the consumer product experience, content promotions, and notifications so personalization is unified across what audiences watch and what we send them.
  • Define the AI and agentic capabilities roadmap for MarTech from generative creative and dynamic content assembly to agentic orchestration of audience, channel, and timing decisions.
  • Establish success metrics for platform performance, data integrity, experimentation velocity, and business outcomes (engagement depth, retention, LTV, content, brand elevation).
  • Partner with Engineering on architecture, scalability, and build-vs-buy trade-offs across the decisioning, data, and integration layers.
  • Partner with Marketing, Data, Growth, and Design to translate business needs into product requirements, experimentation plans, and measurable outcomes.
  • Deliver clear roadmap, KPI, and business-impact communication to senior management, including the CPO and cross-functional executive partners.
  • Lead and mentor a team of product managers, elevating product craft, technical fluency, and MarTech expertise.
  • Build a culture of discovery, experimentation, and first-principles thinking - bringing external market insight, emerging MarTech and AI trends, and platform best practices into Paramount’s product strategy.
  • Establish governance for privacy, consent, and compliance (GDPR, CCPA, COPPA) as a product discipline built into the platform, not a legal overlay.
