About The Position

NetBrain is seeking a Director of Product Marketing to define and execute the go-to-market strategy for its no-code network automation platform. This role will be responsible for translating the company's technically advanced product into a compelling narrative that resonates with economic buyers and empowers sales teams. The Director will collaborate with leadership across Product, Sales, and Engineering to shape how NetBrain is positioned, packaged, and introduced to the market, focusing on the emerging Agentic NetOps category.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in Product Marketing
  • At least 4 years leading platform or multi-product positioning in B2B enterprise software
  • Experience articulating genuine competitive differentiation and packaging it into a story that influences buyer evaluation
  • Experience launching and positioning a product portfolio, including building a narrative architecture to connect capability clusters to outcomes
  • Experience finding and bringing a new, non-obvious use case to market within an existing product, including defining it, building the business case, and leading the launch
  • Experience leading a product marketecture redesign or significant repackaging effort
  • Ability to translate deeply technical capability into a value story for economic buyers without losing credibility with technical practitioners
  • Experience marketing to both technical buyers (engineers, IT operations) and business buyers (CIOs, VPs of Infrastructure)
  • Ability to think in narrative architectures and build a story that cascades
  • Competitively aware, reading the market and factoring it into positioning
  • Experience building a trusted, ongoing relationship with Product Management and using it to bring a unified go-to-market point of view into roadmap planning
  • Experience building or leading the core sales enablement toolkit for a B2B software team
  • Experience managing, mentoring, or closely partnering with more junior marketers
  • Analytically rigorous about what is landing and iterating on positioning with evidence
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and a function being built around you
  • Low ego and high ownership, driving alignment across Product, Sales, and Marketing without positional authority
  • Repetitive motion of wrists, hands and fingers for using a computer
  • Sitting for extended periods, remaining in a stationary position

Nice To Haves

  • Experience marketing platforms with AI, agentic, or automation capabilities
  • Background in network management, observability, infrastructure automation, or adjacent technical infrastructure markets
  • Experience leading a major product launch or marketecture re-launch
  • Familiarity with the analyst landscape around network automation and observability
  • MBA helpful but not required

Responsibilities

  • Develop and articulate NetBrain's competitive differentiation in the network automation and observability market, creating value architectures that map to executive outcomes.
  • Create messaging frameworks for Sales, Marketing, and Field SE teams, ensuring a coherent and consistent narrative across product releases, use cases, and market shifts.
  • Lead the product-side narrative for the Agentic NetOps category, explaining the application of AI, customer interaction with agents, and the value proposition for infrastructure teams.
  • Develop a message track connecting agentic capabilities to measurable operational value, such as reduced outages and faster mean time to resolution.
  • Identify and develop go-to-market strategies for high-value use cases within NetBrain's product capabilities, including building business cases and leading launch sequencing.
  • Refine the product marketecture, including the structure, naming, and packaging of the product portfolio, and lead the launch process for these changes.
  • Develop the sales toolkit, including pitch decks, discovery guides, ROI tools, and objection-handling materials, to enable Sales and Solutions Engineering.
  • Establish and maintain a strong relationship with Product Management to ensure Solutions Marketing has a voice in roadmap conversations and to provide a unified go-to-market perspective.
  • Build and lead the core sales enablement toolkit for a B2B software team.
  • Manage, mentor, or closely partner with more junior marketers.
  • Analyze market data to iterate on positioning with evidence.
