About The Position

TrellisWare's Business Development team is seeking an innovative, strategic, and technically adept Director of Product Marketing to lead the company’s global product marketing strategy, brand positioning, and communications. This role will be responsible for developing and executing product-driven marketing initiatives that align with TrellisWare’s business goals, product portfolio, and target markets. The Director will oversee the marketing communications team, driving digital campaigns, product launches, events, and public relations to ensure consistent messaging and a strong market presence. The ideal candidate possesses a technical aptitude, allowing them to grasp complex engineering concepts and translate them into compelling, high-impact value propositions and messaging that customers can readily understand. This position will manage a cross-functional team responsible for demand generation, content creation, competitive analysis, and customer engagement strategies. The Director will also collaborate closely with product management, engineering, sales, and business development teams to create effective go-to-market plans, support product rollouts, and enhance market awareness across domestic and international segments. Requirements

  • At least ten (10) years of progressive marketing leadership experience, preferably in the defense or high-tech sectors.
  • Experience in both product marketing strategy and tactical execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven ability to quickly master complex technical concepts and distill advanced engineering capabilities into clear, accessible, and compelling product positioning and messaging tailored to multiple customer segments.
  • Track record of driving comprehensive product marketing strategies and go-to-market campaigns that result in measurable business growth.
  • Strong experience in digital and integrated marketing communications.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and marketing agencies/vendors.
  • Skilled in developing and executing lead generation programs that support sales objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate market data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools.
  • Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for brand consistency.
  • Experience planning and executing corporate events, trade shows, and industry conferences.
  • Ability to collaborate across the organization and build strong relationships internally and externally.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a product marketing strategy that supports TrellisWare's business objectives, product portfolio, and market expansion across domestic and international markets.
  • Partner with business development and product management to define product positioning, messaging, and align go-to-market strategies for measurable growth.
  • Drive brand positioning and integrated marketing programs including digital campaigns, demand generation, product launches, customer engagement, events, and PR to strengthen market presence and customer engagement.
