Director, Product Marketing - Carrier

Applied Systems, Inc.,
$150,000 - $180,000Hybrid

About The Position

We're hiring a Director, Product Marketing — Carrier for a hybrid role (1-2 days a week in-office) with occasional travel, leading product marketing strategy for Applied's carrier-facing portfolio. This is a strategic role as the carrier segment is a key growth vector, and this leader will own product positioning, launch strategies, and product marketing team leadership, partnering closely with Product Management, Sales, and Marketing to drive growth with insurance providers globally. This role operates with a builder's mindset — the carrier function is earlier in its scale curve and offers a clear path to senior leadership growth as the business expands. To keep us headed in the right direction, we're looking for people who understand winning is a team sport, who value and seek to learn from our team's diverse experiences and backgrounds, who welcome a challenge and take risks in the pursuit of creating better outcomes for our customers, and who can, at any given time, step back to laugh and have some fun.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years in B2B product marketing, with 3-5+ years of people management experience
  • Proven track record leading product marketing for a high-growth segment, new product category, or emerging business unit in enterprise SaaS
  • Demonstrated ability to build the PMM function for a smaller, scaling team — operating with a builder's mindset and partnering closely with senior leadership
  • Experience in insurance, insurtech, financial services, or another regulated B2B industry strongly preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and public speaking skills, including comfort representing the company with analysts, partners, and at industry events
  • Strong financial acumen and experience contributing to business case development, pricing strategy, and segment investment planning
  • Data-driven mindset with proven ability to use analytics to guide GTM strategy
