About The Position

The application window is expected to close on: 08/21/2026. Job posting may be removed earlier if the position is filled or if a sufficient number of applications are received. Meet the Team: Cisco Cloud Control is Cisco's unified, AI-native management experience for operating networking, security, observability, collaboration, and compute as one connected system. The Cloud Control 360 program brings together product, engineering, customer experience, sales, partners, product marketing, finance, legal, pricing, and operations to turn that platform strategy into sustained customer adoption and business growth. The team operates across Cisco's product portfolio and partner ecosystem, with a bias for measurable outcomes, rapid learning, and shared accountability. Your Impact: As Director of Product Management for Cloud Control 360, you will own the strategy and operating model that connects product readiness with market activation, pipeline execution, customer adoption, value realization, renewals, and expansion. You will lead a focused team and a broad executive-level matrix, translating Cloud Control's platform vision into a 24-36 month plan, a disciplined governance cadence, and a scorecard that makes progress and blockers visible. You will partner directly with senior leaders across Cisco to align priorities, resolve cross-portfolio dependencies, and create repeatable motions that help customers realize value faster.

  • Demonstrated success leading complex, global, cross-functional initiatives across product, engineering, customer experience, sales, marketing, finance, operations, legal, and partner organizations.
  • Experience defining product or portfolio strategy, converting it into integrated roadmaps and operating plans, and driving execution through influence in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Strong metrics rigor across the enterprise software lifecycle, including activation, adoption, usage, customer value, retention, renewals, expansion, and business performance.
  • Executive-level communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to simplify ambiguity, frame trade-offs, secure alignment, and hold senior partners accountable for outcomes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading an enterprise SaaS, cloud management, platform, or infrastructure software portfolio spanning multiple products and business units.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise networking, security, observability, collaboration, compute, and the operational workflows that connect these domains.
  • Experience scaling a strategic platform from launch or controlled availability through broad adoption, general availability, and sustained growth.
  • Master's degree plus 12+ years or PhD plus 8+ years of related experience.
  • Track record improving onboarding, time to value, feature adoption, customer health, renewals, expansion, and net revenue retention in a subscription or recurring-revenue business.
  • Experience developing seller and partner enablement, incentives, customer engagement models, and repeatable go-to-market motions for enterprise and managed-service-provider channels.
  • Experience with portfolio integration, legacy-platform migration, identity and access dependencies, telemetry, APIs, ecosystem integrations, and platform governance.
  • Strong customer and market orientation, including executive customer engagement, competitive analysis, win/loss review, analyst interaction, and AI-assisted research or decision support.

Responsibilities

  • Set the vision, strategy, and integrated 24-36 month plan for Cloud Control 360, connecting product, customer, go-to-market, partner, and commercial outcomes.
  • Lead the five program workstreams: market activation and demand creation; pipeline acceleration and deal execution; customer adoption and value realization; seller and partner efficiency; and product-market fit and the feedback loop.
  • Establish and run the program's governance model, including 60-minute weekly operating reviews, workstream cadences, decision logs, clear ownership, and a two-session critical issue rule that sends unresolved items to the Steering Committee as decision-ready briefs.
  • Build one shared source of truth with data engineering and analytics: a balanced scorecard spanning onboarding and adoption, bookings and pipeline, renewals and expansion, consumption and tokenomics, driven wins, and product health.
  • Align Cloud Control, AI Canvas, platform services, and participating product teams around shared priorities, integration readiness, customer journeys, release dependencies, and measurable commitments.
  • Partner with Customer Experience and Support to industrialize onboarding, adoption plays, success plans, telemetry, health signals, technical support, and intervention paths for enterprise, partner, and managed-service-provider customers.
  • Build repeatable go-to-market motions with sales, product marketing, field specialists, enablement, finance, legal, operations, and partners, including segmentation, messaging, offers, executive engagement, incentives, and deal-blocker removal.
  • Build a closed-loop product-market-fit system using customer research, usage telemetry, support signals, win/loss analysis, field feedback, competitive intelligence, and market data to influence roadmap and investment decisions.
  • Identify and drive resolution of cross-product barriers such as integration gaps, identity and access dependencies, onboarding friction, platform performance, commercial complexity, and legacy migration challenges.
  • Translate ambiguous, multi-team issues into concise executive choices, recommendations, and trade-offs; maintain accountability from decision through execution and measurable outcome.
  • Represent Cloud Control 360 with customers, partners, analysts, sellers, and internal executives, communicating a clear narrative for customer value, differentiation, adoption, and growth.
