  • Proven experience as an exceptional Product Management leader who has helped scale a business through a significant growth stage, ideally at a similarly early-scale company aggressively moving through higher revenue stages.
  • Experience operating within a private equity-backed, growth-focused business is highly beneficial, including familiarity with the accountability, pace, and reporting rigor that come with PE ownership.
  • Demonstrated success in product strategy, market fit, pricing, and packaging for products that combine hardware and software.
  • Track record of protecting and growing revenue through customer retention programs, and of driving new bookings through competitive, market-facing product strategy.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a similar leadership role with SaaS products, with proven leadership of a product team in a SaaS environment and demonstrated success using customer references, case studies, and advocacy as a primary lever for growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead an AI-first transformation across a team and broader organization, including evolving skill sets, processes, and roadmaps to leverage AI and treat data as a core strategic asset.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience building financial models, business cases, and forecasts, and partnering closely with Finance and FP&A on planning and reporting.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in public safety or law enforcement technology is a strong asset and highly valued, though not required for an otherwise exceptional candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, build, and mentor a small, exceptional team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and customer focus that can scale with the business. Operate as a true player-coach, leading by doing rather than delegating from a distance.
  • Enforce full product lifecycle management, including strategic planning, development, launch, growth, and sunset, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Drive the development of an integrated ecosystem across our CAD, Records, and Jail products.
  • Protect and grow existing revenue through strong customer retention and expansion strategies, while driving new bookings and top-line growth. Define and track goals at the product and portfolio levels to ensure investments deliver measurable outcomes as we move aggressively through higher revenue stages.
  • Serve as a strong, financially literate partner to Finance and FP&A, since our goals and our data all terminate in finance. Own the financial narrative for the CRJ portfolio, including forecasting, business cases, and ROI, and ensure product decisions are grounded in sound financial analysis.
  • Facilitate strong communication and alignment with Engineering, Quality, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams, leveraging data and insights to drive decisions.
  • Operate fluently in a dual-track development system, partnering with Engineering to ensure seamless execution of product roadmaps.
  • Engage deeply with customers to gather insights, identify opportunities, and ensure products meet market needs and deliver value.
  • Directly manage at least one product to set a benchmark for excellence, demonstrating best practices in product strategy, market fit, pricing, and packaging.
  • Utilize robust data collection and analytics to inform product strategies and measure success against defined objectives.
  • Lead go-to-market strategies, track product adoption versus goals, and refine strategies to maximize market impact.
  • Incorporate the principles of the Pragmatic Marketing framework to guide product strategy, market fit, and problem-solving.
  • Maintain a sharp understanding of the competitive landscape, using market insights to win against competitors, capture new bookings, and seize opportunities that expand our market position.
  • Personally lead the team, and support the broader organization, through a transition to AI-first ways of working, treating data as a core company resource. Champion the adoption of AI-driven tools and workflows across product discovery, development, and decision-making, and bring the energy and conviction needed to bring others along on the journey.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to bring innovative, valuable solutions to market.
