About The Position

As the Director of Product Management, you will champion the strategy, development, and delivery of next-generation enterprise products for Capital One Software. You will be building high-scale, mission-critical business platforms designed to solve the complex data, cloud, and operational challenges faced by today’s modern enterprise financial institutions. You thrive at the intersection of business strategy and deep technical execution. Whether your background is rooted in elite management consulting with a proven track record of bringing platforms to life, or in enterprise B2B product management navigating 0 to 1 business, or scaling a business, you are an expert at dealing with ambiguity and coming up with ideas, and turning them into delightful experiences that solve a problem for customers. In this role, you will interface directly with executive stakeholders, and redefine how businesses leverage software to scale safely in the cloud.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (for example: Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Information Systems)
• At least 7 years of experience in Product Management

Nice To Haves

• A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
• 2+ years of experience in Financial Services, Banking, or FinTech sectors
• 1+ years of experience in Management Consulting
• 10+ years of experience in Product Management in Data Management or Data Protection
• Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale enterprise B2B software or platforms
• Previous consulting experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new product and pricing strategies for various lending products
• Lead product level data modeling/analytics
• Manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements and execute against the product strategy
• Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently
• Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including: IT, Sales, Operations, Finance and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability
