Candidates based in the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) area will be hired in a hybrid capacity and are expected to work onsite at our Las Colinas office a minimum of two (2) days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely. Specific in ‑ office days may be designated based on team needs and business priorities. Current Need: As the Director of Product Management for Precision Medicine, you will be responsible for setting the vision, strategy and overseeing the successful delivery of our Precision Medicine initiatives. This effort will be crucial in coordinating efforts across our Life Sciences, Research, Community Oncology practices, external vendors, and oncology stakeholders to ensure we achieve the desired outcomes. This role owns the modernization and future readiness of lab-integrated capabilities, ensuring they are scalable, clinically meaningful, and aligned with market and technology trends. The Director, Product Management Precision Medicine & Lab is responsible for the strategy, execution, and outcomes of all laboratory and precision medicine workflows within the EMR, including lab ordering, results ingestion, interpretation, and downstream clinical workflows. This role owns the modernization and future readiness of lab-integrated capabilities, ensuring they are scalable, clinically meaningful, and aligned with market and technology trends. This is an impactful leadership role that partners across business units to establish a shared product vision, drive execution, and support go‑to‑market readiness.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Typically requires 12+ years of professional experience and 4+ years of management experience.
  • 12+ years of product management experience, including leadership of product teams.
  • Demonstrated experience owning and delivering complex product portfolios with measurable business impact.
  • Health IT experience required, with direct exposure to lab-related workflows and EMR-integrated products.
  • Proven ability to define product strategy and execute through cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working closely with engineering and data teams to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Background in precision medicine, diagnostics, or lab-adjacent technology, including ordering, results reporting, interpretation, and operational realities.
  • Strategic product leadership with the ability to translate market trends into actionable roadmaps.

Responsibilities

  • Own the multi-year product vision and roadmap for precision medicine and lab workflows within the EMR.
  • Lead end-to-end lab workflow strategy, including ordering, results, interpretation, and operational usability.
  • Assess and leverage existing internal platforms, data, and capabilities to enhance lab and precision medicine experiences.
  • Drive prioritization, investment decisions, and delivery across the lab and precision medicine product portfolio.
  • Partner closely with engineering, data, clinical, operations, compliance, and commercial teams to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Establish strong product governance, transparency, and outcome-based decision-making.
  • Supports go-to-market readiness, including positioning, packaging, and launch coordination.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a small team of product managers and product owners.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with senior leadership on progress, risks, tradeoffs, and outcomes.
