Reporting into the Vice President of Product, Director, Product Management, PDM will be the strategic product leader to take ownership of our Provider Data Management (PDM) and Symphony product portfolio, helping shape the products that power critical healthcare workflows across the industry. This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-impact business at a pivotal moment—bringing operational excellence, execution rigor, and data-product expertise to a portfolio with significant growth and innovation. As the Director, Product Management PDM, you will partner across Product, Engineering, and Implementation to improve delivery, accelerate customer value, and modernize how provider data is managed across the platform. You will lead an established team, influence strategy, and play a key role in transforming a mission-critical product suite that sits at the center of healthcare operations. Requirements

  • 10 years in leadership role demonstrating the ability to lead high-performing teams, influence stakeholders, and drive product strategy.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant experience or equivalent education. MBA is a plus.
  • Experience within healthcare technology, health plans, provider organizations, or healthcare data platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience managing data-centric products, including products involving data ingestion, validation, enrichment, governance, and master data management concepts.
  • Proven track record of improving product execution, delivery velocity, prioritization, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish operational rigor, scalable processes, planning discipline, and execution frameworks across a product organization.
  • Experience with Provider Data Management, Provider Directories, Credentialing, Enrollment, Network Management, or provider information management solutions.
  • Strong focus on deeply understanding customer needs, market trends, and user pain points, with a track record of delivering solutions that provide exceptional user value.
  • Expertise in developing and executing long-term product roadmaps, aligning product strategies with business goals, and prioritizing features based on impact and value.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams to ensure product success from concept to launch and beyond.
  • Strong understanding of agile frameworks, lean principles, and product development cycles to deliver products efficiently while maintaining high quality.
  • Ability to communicate complex product concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clear direction across teams.
  • Experience leading teams through change, managing ambiguity, and adapting product strategies in fast-paced or evolving environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to take products from ideation to launch, with measurable business outcomes such as increased customer acquisition, retention, or revenue growth.
  • A passion for staying at the forefront of product management trends, continuously learning, and sharing best practices within the product community.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep expertise leading data-centric products, including data pipelines, governance, validation, enrichment, and master data management.
  • Healthcare technology and provider data experience (PDM, provider directories, credentialing, enrollment, network management) is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of scaling product organizations and introducing planning, process, and execution rigor.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the PDM and Symphony product portfolios – developing and executing the product strategy, managing the strategic roadmap, and ensuring cross-functional alignment to deliver and monetize products.
  • Developing and nurturing world-class product management talent and empowered teams, leveraging modern best practices, continuous development, and a coaching mindset.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing product organization, establishing the processes, discipline, and culture needed to scale execution, accelerate delivery, and drive business impact.
  • Partnering closely with Engineering to prioritize work, remove delivery bottlenecks, and improve roadmap execution.
  • Working with Implementation teams to improve customer onboarding and reduce the complexity and duration of implementations.
  • Leveraging data product expertise to improve how provider data is ingested, validated, enriched, mastered, and delivered across the platform.
  • Leading continuous discovery processes to regularly test assumptions and iterate on product features with customer feedback.
  • Driving cross-team innovation and enterprise thinking to actively seek opportunities for growth through product line extensions, partnerships, channel expansion, and operational/cost improvements to existing products.
  • Helping scale the organization by introducing structure, repeatable processes, and a culture of disciplined execution.
  • Owning product metrics, progress, user experience and operational outcomes and regularly communicating outcomes against product goals to drive iterative improvements.
  • Collaborating and influencing across the Availity matrix organization to align the activities of product, marketing, IT, sales, and service teams and their leaders to deliver the product(s).
  • Ensuring technical feasibility, architectural alignment, scale, and performance of solutions by engaging and soliciting feedback from the right technical, operational or enterprise team members.
