About The Position

Acumatica is a leading innovator in cloud ERP solutions, focused on helping small and midsized companies thrive. Our industry-specific business management solution is designed to address real-world needs with intelligent workflows and market-leading usability. Acumatica was acquired by Vista Equity Partners in May of 2025. Our culture is collaborative and high-energy, valuing work/life balance, efficiency, simplicity, customer service, and making a difference. We offer exceptional professional and financial growth potential. This role focuses on rebuilding the finance back office around AI, transforming processes like reconciliations, accruals, collections, and variance explanations. Acumatica is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead this innovation for our General Business Editions, which serves as the cloud ERP foundation for growing SMB organizations, uniting core financials, CRM, and reporting. The position involves owning and reimagining the capabilities that every Acumatica customer depends on for an AI-first world, shifting from systems that record past events to systems that act, anticipate, and advise. Key areas include Core Financials (general ledger, AP/AR, cash management, etc.) and Customer Management (CRM - leads, contacts, opportunities, etc.).

  • Experience defining evaluation and quality approaches for AI in high-trust domains, with accuracy, explainability, and human oversight.
  • A daily personal practice of using AI for product work, and the ability to model and teach it.

  • Strong product strategy and roadmap leadership, connecting decisions to customer value and business outcomes.
  • Solid grounding in accounting and financial operations (multi-entity, revenue recognition, close, compliance) and front-office workflows (sales, quote-to-cash, service).

  • Raise the team's AI product craft, including agent design, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and learning from usage data.
  • Shorten the path from idea to customer value through AI-assisted agile practices and continuous delivery of AI capabilities.
