About The Position

As the Director of Product Management for Exposure Management, you will lead the strategic development and adoption of Palo Alto Networks' next-generation Exposure Management and Vulnerability Management solutions. You will own the product vision, roadmap, and execution, empowering customers with continuous asset discovery, risk prioritization, and seamless remediation workflows using agentic AI. This pivotal role sits at the intersection of product strategy, customer experience, engineering execution, and go-to-market alignment, driving a critical company priority for the future of proactive security.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience in a technology company.
  • Minimum 3 years of product management domain expertise in the vulnerability management (VM, RBVM, CAASM) vendor market.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, a related technical field, or equivalent military experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering customer growth, retention, and optimization across key business metrics.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-functional strategic initiatives from concept to launch.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and expanding a high-impact product management organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for Cortex Exposure Management, driving the evolution of our Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) capabilities.
  • Design seamless, customer-centric workflows and experiences that deliver clear value uplift through continuous asset discovery, accurate risk prioritization, and automated remediation.
  • Serve as the single-threaded owner for exposure management product outcomes, driving accountability and ensuring long-term customer success in significantly reducing their attack surface.
  • Collaborate proactively with Engineering, Product Marketing, and Go-To-Market leaders to ensure alignment and successful execution of the product strategy and roadmap.
  • Partner with Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales to support customers, identify common proactive security challenges, and effectively launch new exposure management solutions.
  • Define and analyze key metrics to track the success of exposure management initiatives (e.g., threat coverage, risk reduction, mean time to remediation), making data-driven decisions to optimize the customer experience and business outcomes.
  • Act as the primary product evangelist for Cortex Exposure Management, articulating the vision and value proposition of proactive security to internal stakeholders, customers, and partners.

  • The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below.
