Director, Product Management - Agent Tooling

NVIDIASanta Clara, CA
$272,000 - $425,500

About The Position

We are looking for a Director of Product Management to lead strategy for developer tools, SDKs, AI agent platforms, harnesses, and evaluation infrastructure that help developers build, test, deploy, and scale intelligent systems on NVIDIA technology. This role combines technical product leadership, ecosystem strategy, and deep empathy for developers working at the frontier of AI, accelerated computing, and autonomous software systems. You will help shape how millions of developers engage with NVIDIA’s AI platforms, from low-level GPU programming to high-level agentic application development. You will define products that make it easier to build with models, tools, runtimes, APIs, orchestration frameworks, evaluation harnesses, and production-grade AI workflows!

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
  • 18+ overall years of product management, engineering, or technical leadership experience, with 5 years leading developer-focused products or platforms
  • 8+ years of Direct People Management Experience
  • Strong technical background with hands-on software development experience, preferably in AI infrastructure, developer platforms, ML frameworks, or GPU computing
  • Experience building products for developers who work with APIs, SDKs, command-line tools, IDEs, frameworks, runtimes, model-serving systems, or production software platforms
  • Understanding of modern AI development workflows, including LLMs, agents, tool use, retrieval, orchestration, evaluation, benchmarking, monitoring, and deployment
  • Proven track record building and scaling developer ecosystems around technically sophisticated products
  • Experience leading high-performing product teams and aligning collaborators across engineering, research, marketing, and business functions
  • Demonstrating strong analytical abilities by using data for product decision-making and measuring developer engagement
  • Excellent communication abilities to translate deeply technical concepts for diverse audiences

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with focus on AI/ML, distributed systems, or parallel computing
  • Direct experience shipping AI agent frameworks, evaluation harnesses, developer tools, SDKs, or infrastructure used in production
  • Background in AI evaluation, benchmarking, test harness design, reliability engineering, observability, or production AI operations

Responsibilities

  • Drive product strategy for developer tools, SDKs, AI agent platforms, harnesses, and evaluation systems that improve developer and agent productivity across AI, accelerated computing, robotics, simulation, HPC, and graphics workflows
  • Define product roadmaps for agentic development infrastructure, including tool-use frameworks, orchestration layers, runtime environments, memory and context systems, evaluation harnesses, benchmarking workflows, observability, and deployment patterns
  • Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, researchers, technical writers, developer advocates, and partner teams, encouraging rapid experimentation and user-centric development
  • Collaborate with our community by engaging directly and using data-driven insights to uncover difficulties and develop impactful product roadmaps
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership to balance technical feasibility, platform architecture, ecosystem needs, and market demand when making prioritization decisions
  • Establish success metrics and feedback loops for developer adoption, agent performance, harness reliability, time-to-first-success, workflow completion, ecosystem engagement, and production readiness
  • Shape NVIDIA’s point of view on how developers build, evaluate, and operate AI agents and AI-native applications using accelerated computing
  • Own end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery through launch, establishing metrics and feedback loops that drive continuous improvement
