About The Position

The Director of Principal Investigator Partnerships will hold primary responsibility for leading Tekton’s nationwide site network expansion. This executive will identify (via their existing and ever-growing contact list) high potential physician groups; introduce them to Tekton’s unique physician-PI value proposition; and vet their experience, capabilities and dedication to running clinical research – ultimately converting and bringing these physician-PIs into the Tekton family. This high-energy, entrepreneurial leader will work collaboratively with Tekton’s Therapeutic Area leaders, Business Development team, and Operational organization to maintain alignment on strategy, targeted geographies, and TAs/indications of focus. Success at Tekton is driven by cross-functional execution. The market opportunity for expansion is immediate, and preference will be given to individuals with actionable ideas and experience building trusted relationships with doctors interested in industry-sponsored research. Requirements

  • 5+years ofexperience inindustry-sponsoredclinical researchand/or physician practice management
  • 3+ years inphysician practice operationsor selling of value-added servicesorrevenue opportunities to physicians
  • Exceptional engagement aptitude and abilitywith physicians, practicemanagersand clinical staff
  • Demonstrated experience indelivering high ROI results
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Salesforce or related software experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

Responsibilities

  • Sourcesactionablenew physician practice / site partnership opportunities.
  • Draws on existing relationships and market knowledge toidentifyand prioritize high potential practicesand PIs.
  • Fosters and engages referrals fromTekton’sexisting network ofphysician-PIs.
  • Researchesnew marketsandidentifiesopportunities for expansionof current sites,incorporating client feedback,geographic demand, demographic diversity, TA strategy, and local competition.
  • Continuouslyseeks new connectionswith prospectivePIs, building andmaintainingan actionablepipeline of opportunity.
  • Managesnew site partnershipsfrominitialcontact to signedcontract; supportingrelationship transfer toTA leadsupon contract execution.
  • Acts as the“face of the company”with prospective PIs.
  • Works collaboratively with TA leads, operations, businessdevelopmentandexistingPIs to presentTekton’suniquevalue proposition and suite of capabilities to prospective PIs.
  • Works in collaboration with TA leaders toeffectively and efficiently meetTA-specific siteexpansion goals.
  • Provides weeklyandon-demand updates to leadership team related to new opportunities.
  • Attends industry conferences,focusing on eventsheavily attended byresearch-interested physicians.
  • Develops,improvesandmaintainsslidedecks/presentations/collateralfor presentation toprospective PIs, especially aroundTekton’sfocusTAs,capabilitiesand value proposition.
  • Maintains current knowledgeof theclinical research trial processand requirements.
  • Tracks all progress, vetting practices, andKPIs(e.g.targeted therapeutic areas; patient access) forprospective PIs andsiteexpansionopportunitiesinTekton’sCRM.Tracks all engagement (recurring meetings, escalations) related to site expansion.
  • Cultivates and supports long-term relationships with PIs after contracting/site start-up.
  • Other duties as assigned.
