About The Position

The Principal Investigators will lead task order teams and oversee personnel responsible for the design and planning of multimodal ITS transportation facilities and projects associated with the task order. PI duties include: • Lead the investigation of research questions and technical issues by working effectively with multi-discipline teams and on project sites. • Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. • Lead and direct the work of others. PI(s) shall have: • Demonstrated experience of excellent verbal, presentation, and writing skills; • Thoroughly familiar with multi-modal ITS concepts, practices, and procedures and have experience in all phases of the ITS life cycle. There will be Principal Investigators for each of the areas below. Emerging and Enabling Technologies Data Access and Exchanges Cybersecurity for ITS Automation Complete Trip (ITS4US) Accelerating ITS Deployment

Requirements

BS Degree in a related field and 8 years of experience in Program Management.
Proven leadership skills with a collaborative management style that will facilitate interaction with supervisors, colleagues, customers and corporate partners.
An active Project Manager’s Professional (PMP) certification.
Demonstrated experience of excellent verbal, presentation, and writing skills
Thoroughly familiar with multi-modal ITS concepts, practices, and procedures and have experience in all phases of the ITS life cycle.
