About The Position

The Director Portfolio Execution is responsible for facilitating the execution of Plan of Record Portfolios. Ensures alignment with the multi-segment business model. This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s) will not be considered for employment, unless an accommodation is granted as required by law. Alternate locations may be considered if candidate resides within a commutable distance from an office but ideal candidates will be located or open to relocate to Indianapolis, IN.

Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • MBA preferred.
  • Portfolio/Program Management experience (intake, prioritization, roadmap, dependency, and tracking) strongly preferred.
  • Experience with governance and operating model design strongly preferred.
  • Controls, Risk & Compliance mindset (audit-ready processes, evidence capture, control testing support) strongly preferred.
  • Strong documentation discipline strongly preferred.
  • Digital and AI delivery fluency strongly preferred.
  • Executive communication and proven stakeholder management strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors projects to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Provides expert knowledge of roadmaps and strategic view of enterprise dependency, program solution delivery.
  • Oversees budget and forecast.
  • Provides leadership on external advocacy efforts.
  • Provides strategic direction and refines consolidated roadmap of initiatives.
  • Manages requirements, strategic projects, reports, analysis, and deadlines.
  • Oversees steering and advisory committees in creating executive documents.
  • Creates internal and external communication strategy, including responses to inquiries, requests for information from external parties, and segmentation of stakeholders’ websites.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
