About The Position

The Director, Player Services shapes and drives ATP's strategic direction for member and player services, with a focus on membership, education, platform development, post-career opportunities, and benefits. This senior leadership role calls for a visionary, results-driven leader who can turn high-level goals into real action plans, using technology, digital engagement, and data to guide decisions, while working closely with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable digital solutions. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
• Good understanding of the sport of tennis
• Proven experience in strategic planning, with a track record of successfully implementing and achieving strategic objectives.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High proficiency on PowerPoint, and Excel.
• High Analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Knowledge of industry trends and a forward-thinking approach to strategic planning.

• Be able to work at a high-level under pressure and with tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to work at flexible hours including the weekends when required
• This position will required some traveling to key events

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan that aligns with ATP’s mission and goals.
• Develop long-term strategic thinking in areas such as membership, education, platforms development, post-career opportunities and benefits.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather insights and perspectives for strategic decision-making.
• Lead the development and execution of strategic analysis initiatives aligned with the organization's goals.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making.
• Developed strategic direction and processes to ensure maximum efficiencies within the Player Relations Department
• Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
• Build and lead a high-performing strategic planning team, ensuring that each team member is aligned with organizational objectives.
• Develop Board, Player Advisory Council, and Player meetings materials
• Drive the development of a compelling vision for the organization's future, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and emerging trends.
• Encourage a culture of innovation, constantly seeking new opportunities to improve processes and services.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the success of strategic initiatives.
• Regularly evaluate the organization's performance against strategic goals and make adjustments as needed.
• Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance Player Relations Department capabilities
• Negotiate and manage relationships with external partners, ensuring mutual benefit and strategic alignment.
• Effectively communicate Player Relations strategic direction to internal and external stakeholders.
• Serve as an advocate for the organization, representing its interests in various forums and engaging with the broader community.
