We're looking for a Director of Platform & Infrastructure to lead the platform and infrastructure function supporting our SaaS and Marketplace engineering organizations. This is a hands-on infrastructure leadership role, leading a distributed team of roughly 10 people spanning multiple regions and time zones, including a dedicated SRE-focused group.
Requirements
- Significant experience leading technical or engineering teams.
- Strong hands-on experience with a major cloud provider and modern infrastructure practices.
- A track record leading and developing teams, including through incidents and high-pressure situations.
- Experience working in a product-driven technology company.
- Comfort leading distributed, cross-regional teams.
- A direct, people-first leadership style focused on team growth and hands-on support.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a distributed platform and infrastructure organization, staying hands-on with the team when issues arise.
- Drive infrastructure modernization and cloud migration initiatives, including moving services to managed cloud offerings.
- Own reliability, deployment, and disaster recovery practices across the organization's core environments.
- Set engineering standards for infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and operational resilience.
- Partner with engineering and senior leadership to translate platform strategy into practical roadmaps.
