Director - Plant Operations
About The Position
Landmark Medical Center is seeking a Director of Plant Operations to direct and administer work related to the physical plant and ancillary systems, including Engineering, Grounds, EVS, Security, and Safety. The Director manages construction and remodeling projects as directed by organizational leadership and serves as the liaison between the Medical Center and contracted personnel or vendors performing facilities-related work. The Director is expected to present a positive image of the hospital to patients, visitors, physicians, and the public. Landmark Medical Center is a 214-bed acute care hospital in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, serving northern Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts since 1873. It is part of Prime Healthcare.
Requirements
- Experience with basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, hazardous materials, and safety management.
- Management experience.
- Knowledge of hospital-associated codes.
- Experience managing or supervising facilities-related departments, including EVS, Security, Grounds, and Biomed.
- Knowledge of facility buildings, equipment, and utilities.
- Valid state driver's license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of 3 years of hospital experience in Plant Operations.
- College degree in an Engineering field.
