About The Position

HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the Interim Director of Perioperative Services at a 300+ bed facility in Washington. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Oversee the day-to-day surgical operations throughout the department. Will oversee multiple specialty areas throughout multiple ORs which also include Cardiac Cath Lab/IR, Orthopedic OR/GI, CVOR/Main OR, Perianesthesia, SPD and Recovery. This leader will strengthen relationships with surgeons, ensure smooth daily operations across surgical services, and proactively address challenges as they arise. Ideal candidate is a proven subject matter expert in perioperative services, capable of driving culture change and operational excellence. Exceptional collaboration, communication, and leadership skills are essential. Comfortable in a working environment.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree
6+ years of perioperative experience
3+ years of recent supervisory or management capacity
Strong communication, diplomacy and persuasiveness, analytical ability, strong judgment and managerial skills
Washington RN license or Compact RN license required
AHA BLS
Information systems experience (EPIC) and Microsoft Office suite
