About The Position
The Director has 24-hour responsibility and accountability for the management of the Labor/Delivery, Nursery and Post Partum units. The director is responsible to uphold the mission, vision, quality statement, and values of the organization and to serve as an example to all employees. The Director integrates the primary functions of the organization into the departments while planning, directing, and coordinating ongoing services of these departments, and is responsible for the quality and quantity of service and for contributing to the organization's financial viability through effective resource management.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Active KY medical license.
- CPR certification required.
- At least two years Labor/Delivery/Nursery and Post Partum experience.
- Drug Screen
- Tuberculosis Test
- Background Check
- Physical Exam
- Respirator Fit
- Current Flu Shot
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Previous charge RN experience is strongly preferred.
