About The Position

We’re looking for a senior People Strategy and Partnership leader to help solve our most important people and organizational challenges while serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, and workforce planning. As Director, People Strategy & Partnership in the Office of the Chief People Experience Officer (CPXO), you'll work at the intersection of People strategy and business strategy. Reporting to the VP, Global People Strategy & Business Operations, with a dotted line to the VP, Global Business Partnerships, you'll partner closely with People Experience leaders to diagnose organizational challenges, shape talent and workforce strategies, and influence how Crunchyroll grows, organizes, and develops its people. You'll help define Crunchyroll’s most important People priorities, develop recommendations that inform executive decisions, and serve as a trusted thought partner to business and People leaders on organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, and workforce planning.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in management consulting, People strategy, organizational effectiveness, or strategy & operations, complemented by experience leading People transformation initiatives and/or serving as a senior People Business Partner in a high-growth technology, media, or consumer company.
  • MBA or advanced degree, or equivalent experience in strategy, People Business Partnership, People transformation, or organizational effectiveness.
  • A trusted advisor who has partnered with senior business leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategy, leadership effectiveness, and organizational change.
  • A strategic thinker who brings structure to complex organizational challenges and translates business priorities into practical People strategies.
  • Communicate with clarity and influence, creating executive-level presentations, recommendations, and narratives that drive decisions.
  • Combine strong business acumen with analytical rigor, using workforce insights and organizational data to shape recommendations and improve business performance.
  • Thrive in ambiguous environments, influence without authority, and build trusted relationships across People teams and business leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategy, employee experience, and culture transformation.
  • Diagnose complex organizational and talent challenges, evaluate options, and develop recommendations that improve organizational effectiveness and business performance.
  • Partner with senior business leaders and People Business Partners to translate business priorities into People strategies that support organizational and business goals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, organizational design, and change management.
  • Facilitate discussions around organizational health, talent reviews, succession planning, and long-term workforce planning to help leaders make informed organizational decisions.
  • Develop strategic recommendations, business cases, and decision frameworks that guide executive decision-making.
  • Build executive-level presentations, communications, and narratives that simplify complex organizational and workforce topics.
  • Use workforce insights and organizational data to identify risks, opportunities, and recommendations that improve organizational performance.
  • Partner with Centers of Excellence and business leaders to shape practical, business-aligned People solutions.
  • Influence leaders through data-driven recommendations, strong business acumen, and trusted advisory relationships.
  • Represent the Office of the CPXO in strategic discussions, bringing clarity, perspective, and a point of view on key organizational decisions.
