About The Position

CG Oncology is seeking a Director of Peer-to-Peer Marketing to design and lead thought leader initiatives across the pre-launch, launch and post-launch lifecycle. The role will lead the peer-to-peer (P2P) strategy for cretostimogene as CG Oncology prepares for its first commercial launch in non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). The Director will build a physician-to-physician engagement strategy to educate urologists and other appropriate healthcare professionals about the evolving NMIBC treatment landscape, appropriate patient identification and the potential role of cretostimogene. The Director will create the strategy, infrastructure, content and operating model for peer education across national, regional, local and digital channels. Responsibilities include speaker strategy and development, speaker programs, advisory engagement, P2P content, field integration and measurement. The initial focus is high-risk BCG-unresponsive NMIBC, while developing capabilities and insights that may support future indications, including intermediate-risk NMIBC. The role works closely with HCP Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Commercial Operations, Insights & Analytics, Market Access, Regulatory, Legal and Compliance. It also leads the integrated commercial congress strategy for cretostimogene and cross-functional planning of compliant commercial congress activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Ten or more years of marketing experience.
  • Significant pharmaceutical marketing experience, including direct experience leading peer-to-peer or HCP marketing programs.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing for and/or executing a pharmaceutical product launch.
  • Experience developing and managing commercial speaker bureaus and peer-to-peer programs.
  • Strong understanding of HCP segmentation, targeting and customer engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within Regulatory, Legal and Compliance requirements.
  • Authorization to work for any employer in the United States; the company is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or other graduate degree.
  • Oncology experience.
  • Urology, bladder cancer or physician-administered oncology experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the integrated peer-to-peer marketing strategy for cretostimogene, including its role within the overall brand and launch strategy.
  • Identify physician behaviors, knowledge gaps and adoption barriers that peer education can address, and develop P2P approaches for pre-launch, launch and post-launch.
  • Determine the appropriate mix of national, regional, local, in-person and virtual peer engagement, integrating P2P strategy with HCP Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs and broader customer engagement.
  • Develop P2P capabilities that can evolve as cretostimogene potentially expands into additional NMIBC patient populations.
  • Develop the commercial speaker strategy and speaker bureau operating model, including the types, number and geographic distribution of speakers needed for launch.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify potential speakers and establish selection criteria based on clinical expertise, credibility, communication capabilities, customer relevance and geographic needs.
  • Lead speaker onboarding, training and certification with appropriate cross-functional partners; build a diverse speaker faculty for academic, community and other relevant urology audiences.
  • Establish processes for ongoing speaker evaluation, development, optimization, succession and expansion as the brand and indications evolve.
  • Lead development and execution of the integrated commercial congress strategy, including the annual congress plan and selection of priority national and regional meetings.
  • Define congress objectives, target audiences, key messages and desired customer actions.
  • Lead cross-functional commercial congress planning with HCP Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Corporate Communications and other relevant functions.
  • Develop integrated congress engagement plans spanning promotional booth presence, peer-to-peer programs, customer engagements, field activities and other commercial channels.
  • Partner with HCP Marketing on promotional booth strategy, customer experience, messaging, content and supporting materials.
  • Develop congress-specific P2P approaches, including speaker programs, expert panels and other compliant physician-to-physician engagements.
  • Coordinate with Medical Affairs so commercial congress activities appropriately complement scientific communications, data presentations and independent medical engagement while maintaining functional boundaries.
  • Ensure commercial congress activities comply with applicable Regulatory, Legal and Compliance requirements.
  • Serve as the primary Marketing lead for commercial peer-to-peer strategy.
  • Partner with HCP Marketing to ensure P2P activities reinforce overall brand strategy, and collaborate with Sales leadership on customer targeting, program planning and field execution.
