About The Position

The Director Patient Care Rehab is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction within the rehabilitation hospital's nursing administration. This role involves developing and implementing strategic plans, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving process improvement, and managing staff to achieve organizational goals. The Director will focus on enhancing patient care quality, fostering a positive work environment, and maintaining financial accountability.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
BSN required.
Minimum of four (4) years of nursing experience.
Minimum of two (2) years of previous nursing experience in progressively responsible leadership roles.
Current Registered Nursing License with Georgia Board of Nursing or Current Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
CPR/ACLS

Nice To Haves

MSN preferred.
Two (2) years of experience in the area of specialty is preferred.
Recommend certification in relevant specialty.

Assures timely throughput patient processes via demonstration of “pull” behavior, effective/ proactive discharge planning, utilization of visual and RFID technology to enable communication and flow, monitoring and intervening to assure appropriate turnaround time.

Assists department/service line in adapting to changing environment while ensuring appropriate workflow and time frames.
