About The Position

The Director, Partnership Sales is a senior revenue leader responsible for driving corporate partnership growth across CSEC’s multi-brand portfolio. This role leads and develops a high-performing sales team while personally contributing to the closure of select, high-value partnerships. The Director will establish sales strategy, pipeline discipline, and a culture of proactive, solution-based selling to deliver consistent and scalable revenue growth.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in partnership sales, sponsorship, or media sales, preferably in sports or entertainment.
  • Proven success leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Demonstrated track record of closing six- and seven-figure partnership deals.
  • Strong expertise in integrated marketing platforms (digital, social, venue, broadcast, experiential).
  • Highly effective communicator with executive-level presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic, data-driven mindset with strong pipeline and forecasting discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of partnership sales professionals, setting clear revenue targets, activity standards, and performance expectations.
  • Build a disciplined sales culture centered on proactive prospecting, pipeline management, and accountability.
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development of top sales talent.
  • Own and execute the partnership sales strategy across all CSEC properties and assets.
  • Drive new business development through integrated, insight-led partnership solutions spanning sponsorship, premium, digital, content, and experiential platforms.
  • Personally lead and close a select group of high-value, complex partnership deals.
  • Identify new revenue streams, categories, and go-to-market opportunities to maximize asset value.
  • Establish best-in-class sales processes, CRM discipline, and forecasting accuracy.
  • Maintain oversight of pipeline health, revenue pacing, and deal progression.
  • Implement consistent reporting and performance tracking to drive results.
  • Guide the creation of customized, data-driven proposals that align with partner objectives and deliver measurable ROI.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop innovative platforms and maximize inventory across all channels.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends to bring new ideas, assets, and commercial models to market.
  • Partner with marketing, content, premium, ticketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution and long-term partner success.
  • Align sales efforts with broader organizational strategy, brand priorities, and fan engagement initiatives.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key clients, agencies, and industry partners.
  • Represent CSEC within the business community and at key industry events.
