About The Position

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is dedicated to transforming the health care experience and providing access to world-class health care in America’s heartland. This role directs the functions and activities of Sanford Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in conjunction with the Provider Department Chair in a Dyad management model. The position provides vision and develops short and long-term strategic plans, ensuring quality of care and support, and efficient and profitable operations by planning, directing, and coordinating all administrative functions. It also oversees the development and maintenance of policies and procedures, the preparation and application of budgets, and the development and implementation of all plans to improve operations. Promoting effective communication skills among staff is also a key aspect of this role to enhance teamwork and build effective, efficient operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare related field required.
• Must have at least five years managerial experience in a healthcare field.
• Must have thorough knowledge of administrative, management, and process improvement principles as well as knowledge of payer reimbursement.
• Must maintain national and state licensure/certification required by your profession.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree preferred.
