  • Familiarity with FBDI, ADFDI, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and SOAP/REST APIs as they relate to financial data.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of the critical importance of controls, audit trails, and segregation of duties in a global financial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the technical architecture of the Oracle Fusion Financials suite, ensuring system configurations meet global business needs and follow technical best practices.
  • Lead the strategy for Oracle’s quarterly update cycles, overseeing impact analysis, regression testing, and the rollout of new features to minimize business disruption.
  • Design and maintain Value Sets, Flexfield structures (KFF/DFF), and Tree Hierarchies, managing the impact of hierarchy changes on reporting cubes (Essbase).
  • Configure Primary/Secondary Ledgers, Reporting Currencies, and Ledger Sets, understanding the technical logic behind "Subledger Accounting" (SLA) to customize data flow from AP/AR/CM/PPM into the GL.
  • Configure cross-validation rules, data access sets, and segment value security.

  • Group all rules into a cohesive accounting method assigned to the ledger.
  • Identify and categorize different business events coming from the legacy system.
  • Define header and line-level data elements (sources) that need to be captured from the external system to drive accounting rules and reporting.
  • Achieve technical mastery of bank integration (Host-to-Host) and secure file transmission (SFTP/PGP) for automated statement retrieval.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of Manual and Automated Reconciliation Rule Sets, including the use of "Tolerance Rules" and "Mapping Sets" to handle high-volume bank statement lines.
  • Develop automated "sweep" or "zero-balance" technical logic for global liquidity management.
  • Configure and maintain cash posting rules.
  • Experience in Oracle Supplier Portal, IDR or DocIO for vendor onboarding and invoice processing.
  • Hands-on development of ISO 20022, NACHA, and SWIFT payment templates using BI Publisher (eText/XSL-FO) to facilitate direct integration with global banks.
  • Technical configuration of tax engines, including tax rules, regimes, and automated tax calculation logic for cross-border transactions.
  • Technical expertise in configuring Asset Books (Corporate/Tax), Depreciation Methods (STL, DB), and Prorate Conventions.
  • Hands-on experience with the FA Mass Additions process, specifically troubleshooting the technical interface between AP/Projects and the FA module.
  • Mastery of the Auto-Invoice Master Program; debug interface table errors and design custom validation logic for high-volume billing imports from external CRMs (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Experience designing and building Auto-Lockbox transmission formats and "Auto-Match" rule sets for high-accuracy receipt application.
  • Partner with the Data Engineering team to ensure seamless data flow between Oracle Fusion and ancillary systems.
  • Direct the development of advanced reporting using OTBI, BI Publisher, FRS and FDI to provide real-time visibility into global financials.
