Requirements

• Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), required for all new hires after 1/11/2021.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or management experience.
• Clinical experience in cardiology, cardiovascular lab, surgical services, or perioperative nursing.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA).

Nice To Haves

• Five (5) or more years of progressive leadership experience in Cardiology and/or Surgical Services.
• PALS certification, as applicable to facility needs.
• Demonstrated proficiency with clinical systems, data analysis, and computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic, operational, and clinical leadership for Cardiology Services and Surgical Services.
• Responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating patient care delivery, staff performance, regulatory compliance, quality improvement initiatives, and fiscal management across assigned departments.
• Collaborates closely with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care across the continuum.
