About The Position
Provides professional nursing care practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Two years current Cardiology/ Interventional Radiology Experience/CVL. In the absence of applicants with two years current Cardiology/ IR experience/CVL, will accept two years Critical Care or current ED experience.
- Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing.
- Certification in the posted specialty area.
- In the absence of qualified candidates in the above referenced areas, will consider applicants with Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required. Basic Cardiac Life Support. Applicable training and orientation will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Provides professional nursing care practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act.
- On-call and late shifts may be required based on operational needs.
- Needs to be flexible with scheduling to meet patient scheduling and departmental needs.
