About The Position

About the team: The team partners closely with Merchandising and Store Operators to transform strategy into actionable solutions that improve in-stock levels, inventory flow, and daily operations within Consumables departments. By collaborating directly with store operators, the team develops initiatives based on data and frontline insights to streamline execution and overcome challenges. Cross-functional cooperation ensures scalable solutions that deliver measurable results for customers and associates. This team is ideal for professionals skilled in operational execution, problem-solving, and driving outcomes through strong partnerships at Walmart’s scale.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in operations management and execution of complex projects with strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale initiatives to successful completion.
  • Proficiency in data analysis to interpret trends, develop actionable insights, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Experience in developing and implementing business strategies that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Strong project management skills, including timeline development, budget oversight, and risk mitigation.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with stakeholders to drive business goals.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and fostering a culture of accountability and integrity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or related field and 5 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area OR 7 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area.
  • 3 years’ supervisory experience.
