About The Position

Sodexo InReach has an exciting leadership opportunity for a Director, Operations. The Director of Operations for refreshment services is responsible for providing high-level operational support to existing and prospective client accounts within a designated division or regional area. This role directs operational functions to ensure full compliance with client contracts while aligning services with company and divisional initiatives. The Director provides critical support to the sales effort through feasibility studies and pricing strategies, ensuring a standard of quality service. This leader manages resources in response to client needs, provides expert training on operational subject matter, and supervises a dedicated team of operational and project support staff. This is an East coast based remote role with 50% travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years Management Experience
  • Proven experience in operational leadership, specifically within the convenience solutions.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in pricing, feasibility studies, and budget management.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing diverse teams.
  • Exceptional communication and client-facing skills.
  • Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum Management Experience: 7 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience: 7 years

Responsibilities

  • Direct one or more operational functions to maintain strict compliance with client contracts and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Align refreshment services and operational workflows with broader company or divisional strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with the sales team by providing operational expertise, conducting feasibility studies, and developing competitive pricing models for prospective accounts.
  • Act as a primary resource for client accounts, directing resources effectively to meet specific needs and requests.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services across all micro kitchen locations within the assigned region.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and training to client accounts on operational best practices.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of operational and project support positions, fostering a culture of excellence and professional development.
