The Director, Operations Support & Strategy partners closely with leaders across WelbeHealth to drive high-impact initiatives that improve our operational and clinical performance, with a focus on our strategic pillars and as directed based on specific work assignment. Through complex problem solving and analysis, effective stakeholder engagement, management process design, and a focus on simplicity and replicability, the Director, Operations Support & Strategy helps deliver measurable performance improvements as we grow. This role is different because the Director, Operations Support & Strategy at WelbeHealth: Leads major operational and strategic initiatives that drive performance that will impact the care vulnerable seniors receive. Creates cross-functional teams to drive programs across both shared functions and market operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; master’s degree preferred (MBA, MHA, MHP)
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or a similar role supporting enterprise-level initiatives that impact clinical operations
  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members
  • Passionate about improving the quality and cost of healthcare in the U.S.
  • Strong understanding of managed care models and what initiatives impact quality and total cost of care
  • Strong analytical foundation with the ability to synthesize conclusions and direction from incomplete data using qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Strong spreadsheet and slide deck presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead major operational and strategic initiatives that drive performance, with a focus on clinical excellence, patient experience, and mission expansion solutions, including the development of tools and management processes to enable standardization at scale
  • Proactively identify improvement opportunities and management process gaps, then implement solutions with alignment from key stakeholders
  • Organize and structure cross-functional teams to drive complex programs across both shared functions and market operations
  • Synthesize and present learnings, insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Support strategic planning and governance of operations initiatives
  • Hire, train, develop, supervise, and coach Operations team members
