About The Position

Directs, plans, and organizes the staff and operations related to Neurology in Manhattan. Responsible for the overall operations of Manhattan Neurology according to the strategic direction set by the Neurology Senior Leadership team and helps facilitate the transformation of Manhattan Neurology from its current state to a more advanced state capable of delivering on the long-term vision of the Neurology Service Line. Ensures fiscal, operations, staff, technology, and programmatic strategies are effectively implemented across all of the Manhattan sites. Responsible for: Culture, Strategic growth & access, Financial Well-being, Optimization of current practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 8-12 years of relevant experience and 7+ years of leadership / management experience, required.

Responsibilities

• Leads an Operations group by communicating with and developing staff members, and building consensus for programs and goals that support a business, function or geographic area.
• Develops and articulates a short-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility.
• Functions as end-user interface for physicians, administrative and support personnel to assure operational concerns with Neurology are continuously identified and addressed.
• Develops and monitors strategic operating goals, objectives and budget; reports operational performance, justification and/or corrective action.
• Participates in new construction projects related to operational issues; develops and implements operations-related programs to enhance patient and employee satisfaction.
• Develops and maintains productive inter/intra departmental clinical, administrative and vendor work relationships to optimize operations.
• Selects, develops, manages and evaluates direct reports; oversees the selection, development, management and evaluation of indirect reports.
• Oversees compliance with government and agency regulations.
• Performs related duties as required.
