About The Position

The Director of Operations – AMG Heart & Vascular Service Line provides operational leadership, strategic support, and performance oversight for heart and vascular programs across the organization. Reporting directly to the Service Line Director, this role partners closely with hospital executives, nursing leadership, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered cardiovascular care delivery. This role ensures exceptional customer service, compliance with Adena Health policies, applicable laws, and regulatory standards, as well as accreditation requirements. This position is responsible for translating strategic goals into operational plans, optimizing clinical workflows, improving financial and quality performance, and driving service line growth. This leader ensures regulatory compliance, promotes evidence-based practice, and fosters a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular settings. This position plays a critical leadership role in advancing cardiovascular excellence, ensuring operational effectiveness, and supporting sustainable growth within the Heart & Vascular Service Line.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Registered Nurse with current Ohio license
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of cardiology nursing experience.
  • Required three (3) to five (5) years of healthcare managerial or director level leadership experience.
