About The Position

The Director Oncology drives operational excellence for Memorial Health University Medical Center’s oncology service line, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered oncology care through program development under the direction of the CEO and Regional Director of Oncology. As a Savannah regional leader, the Director executes mid- and long-range strategic initiatives to optimize operational performance and manages short-range operational planning and execution related to disease-site performance, marketing, and compliance. The role helps develop strategic imperatives, coordinates operational initiatives and tactical plans, and tracks performance against key performance indicators. The Director also ensures operational support for departments involved in implementing oncology programs and mentors colleagues to support optimal team performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 5 years of healthcare operations management experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree preferred.
• Clinical business certification or degree preferred.
