The Director of Youth, Young Adult & Cultural Ministries is a professionally qualified minister responsible for advancing the Church’s mission of evangelization and discipleship among adolescents and young adults and providing pastoral care for various cultural groups throughout the Diocese of Orlando. This role provides strategic leadership, formation, and support to parish youth ministry, high school campus ministry, college campus ministry, and young adult ministry leaders, fostering communities of faith that promote encounter, accompaniment, and missionary discipleship. Grounded in ecclesial documents and the pastoral vision of the Diocese of Orlando, the Director provides direct oversight of college campus ministries and collaborates closely with parishes and schools to ensure cohesive formation efforts for youth and young adults. The Director also provides support and formation for various cultural ministries throughout the Diocese. The position collaborates within the Secretariat for Laity, Family, and Life and with other chancery offices to promote safe, inclusive, and vibrant ministry across the diocese, forming leaders who reflect the Church’s care for the spiritual, emotional, and social well-being of youth, young adults, and those whose culture.
